Volunteering

Nothing is so satisfying as helping another person to live a happier and fuller life. Your gift of time, energy and love can have a important impact on deserving people in your community. Volunteering your time at special events, fundraisers, and in other ways helps UDS better serve the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly. Without the generous contribution of time and energy from our volunteers, many of the important services of UDS would not be possible. They are also critical to educating the community about the needs of individuals with disabilities and to creating awareness of the many UDS services available.

June 18, 2009 - "Heart of Gold" is honored by UDS
Don Martin's decades of devotion has brought friends and acquaintances – and $1.5 million – to the aid of people with disabilities. The Lancaster New Era highlights Don's story.
